The tenby10 Project if governed by the tenby10 Executive, which is made up of Senior representatives from the key Stakeholders, the Port Pirie Regional Council, the Environmental Protection Authority, the Department of Health and the Port Pirie Smelter.
The Executive believes that everyone in the Port Pirie community has a right to expect no adverse health impacts from exposure to lead emitted by the Port Pirie Smelter and is committed to a sustainable and healthy future for the community of Port Pirie and the Smelter.
The Executive agrees that lead in blood levels in children in the Port Pirie community are unacceptable. It also acknowledges that no one organisation alone can address the problem, and therefore agrees that Members will work co-operatively together in an integrated whole of government, local government, industry approach to reduce lead in blood in children in the Port Pirie community
The Executive meets regularly and will report progress of the tenby10 Project openly and transparently to the community, Government and other stakeholders.

Dr Kevin Buckett
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC HEALTH, SOUTH AUSTRALIAN
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
Kevin has been with the South Australian Department of Health since 2001 and has been Director of Public Health since 2003. His responsibilities include the scientific and medical evaluation of lead exposure and health impact assessment in Port Pirie. Before coming to South Australia, Kevin was Director of Environmental Health with the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing in Canberra, where he was responsible for the development and publication of Australia’s first National Environmental Health Strategy

Mr Tony Circelli - DEPUTY CHIEF EXECUTIVE, SOUTH AUSTRALIAN ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AUTHORITY (EPA)
Mr Circelli has worked with the South Australian EPA since it was first established in 1995. Since this time, he has worked in a variety of senior positions, including dealing with both national and state policy development in air quality; and then in 1998 being appointed as a regional Operations Manager dealing with major industrial operations. He has led the corporate and policy area of the EPA for five years and recently moved back to the Regulatory Division of the EPA, responsible for regulating key activities considered environmentally significant. He is currently the EPA's Deputy Chief Executive. The lead issue in Port Pirie has and continues to be an EPA priority and he is pleased to be representing the EPA's regulatory interests as part of a comprehensive strategy to address the issue.

Mr Mark Diamond
COUNTRY HEALTH SA
Mark has been appointed to a role with Country Health SA (the single regional health service in country South Australia that came into operation on 1 July 2006), which includes the management of the Environmental Health Service at Port Pirie as well as a whole of government coordination role in support of the Ten by 10 Strategy. Mark believes that both these roles will be crucial in achieving the reduction in blood lead in children in Port Pirie by 2010. The whole of government co-ordination role in particular will require the support and assistance of a range of government departments that are responsible for the provision of services to the Port Pirie community. Local government and non-government organisations also play an important part in supporting our citizens and their involvement and support will be very important.

MAYOR Geoff Brock - PORT PIRIE REGIONAL COUNCIL
Geoff has held the position of Mayor since 2003. He was first elected to Council in 1989 and has served on numerous community committees since returning to Port Pirie 31 years ago. Widowed, but now partner Lyn and he have 12 grandchildren between them. Geoff is very passionate about our youth and their future and at the same time, very committed and passionate about our region with regard to a sustainable and continued growth opportunities. Geoff enjoys working as a team to achieve a successful outcome with the tenby10 Project.

Mr Matt Howell
GENERAL MANAGER, PORT PIRIE SMELTER
Matt comes to Port Pirie with 22 years in the base metals industry. His experience includes operational roles in the United States and China, in addition to all Australian smelters operated by the Port Pirie Smelter. Matt has had prior lead smelting experience having been General Manager of Australian Refined Alloys Pty Ltd, which operates secondary lead recycling facilities in Sydney and Melbourne and is familiar with the complex environmental, social & community issues associated with lead smelting. Married with 3 young children, Matt is delighted to be involved with a partnership approach that will deliver not only improvements to Children’s health, but ultimately improve the sustainability of the smelter and the Port Pirie community.
